Memo

Just a quick note to test fixes to my ravaged little blog...

It is summer. Travels have gone well (so far so good) and I'm treasuring the time spent with Cervantes, Eco, Atkinson, Fernando Verissimo, Pérez-Reverte, Gaiman, Fforde, and Chopin. Also, I'm about to get to know a bit of Nick Tosches.

I wish I could take all these fireflies back with me. The night air is teeming with them...

Just a quick note to say, glad you got the blog up and running. :) I know it was driving you crazy. It was great seeing you, although I'm a tad offended that my name didn't make it among the ranks of "Cervantes, Eco, Atkinson, Fernando Verissimo, Pérez-Reverte, Gaiman, Fforde, and Chopin"

I would assume it's bad I only recognize Chopin from that list of nine.

Yes...I am *finally* back for good...back in Colombia...and back online. Whew! Thanks for all the kind words.

(And Tom, of course not! Four of those were first-time reads. I hope to blog about them more v. soon.)
