I went out tonight and bought Coraline and The Golden Compass. I am looking forward to reading these two books. Cheers!
I read Coraline with my morning coffee. How wonderful! Thank you for introducing me to this magical story. I knew it would be good when I read the beginning quote by G. K. Chesterton. "Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten."
That's one of my very favorite Chesterton quotes. So glad you enjoyed it! Such a deliciously creepy story...with truth threaded throughout. Thanks for staying in touch and listening, Carrie.
